The taxable value of Palm Beach County and its 38 cities and towns grew by 6.7 percent from 2015 to 2016, inching closer to the historic high set in 2007 at the height of the housing boom.

Preliminary estimates released by Property Appraiser Gary Nikolits’ office show taxable values grew in each of the county’s cities and towns — marking the third year of consecutive growth for all of the county’s municipalities. -exerpt from the Palm Beach Post
